BOUNTY CREW: NEWGROUNDS FIGHTING GAME COLLAB!

Short Summary: I’m opening the Bounty Crew fighting game up to Newgrounds creators interested in contributing voice acting, animation, music, singing/rapping, artwork, or other creative ideas. If you’re interested, DM me here or email me!
HEY EVERYONE!
I’m Jam, I’m a game dev and the creator of the Bounty Crew (and Bounty Toons) series on NG.
I’ve been working on a game called Bounty Crew, a classic PS1/Arcade influenced claymation-styled fighting game that I’ve been developing for quite some time now.
What originally started as a much smaller project has grown into something way bigger than I ever expected, with a full roster of fighters (still growing), unique movesets, story moments, cutscenes, and characters from both my own work and the Newgrounds community. But there’s something I’ve wanted to do with Bounty Crew for a long time.
I don’t want Bounty Crew to just feature Newgrounds. I want Bounty Crew to INVOLVE Newgrounds.
Bounty Crew is meant to be a love letter to Newgrounds. The artists, animators, musicians, voice actors, games, characters, and overall culture that have made this community such a huge inspiration to me.
So…
I WANT TO OPEN THE DOORS.
If you’re a Newgrounds creator who would like to contribute something to Bounty Crew, I’d love to hear from you!
VOICE ACTING
I’m looking for voice actors who’d be interested in helping bring characters to life.
This could include:
- Fighter dialogue
- Intro/outro lines
- Story scenes
- Background characters
- Other fun little bits of dialogue
You don’t necessarily need professional experience. If you’ve got a voice you think would fit something in Bounty Crew, send it my way!
ANIMATION
I’d also love to work with Newgrounds animators on short 10–20 second cutscenes for the game.
These could include:
- Character introductions
- Character outros
- Short story moments
- Comedic skits
- Character interactions
- Little moments that show off their personalities
Different animation styles are absolutely welcome. Part of the fun of Bounty Crew is having all these different creators and styles collide.
MUSIC / SINGING / RAPPING
Are you a musician?
A singer?
A rapper?
Do you make remixes, original music, instrumentals, or just generally make somethin’ cool that you think could fit Bounty Crew?
I’d love to hear it.
There will be many opportunities for vocal performances, songs, remixes, and other musical contributions throughout the game.
ARTWORK
Artists are welcome too!
I’d love to see:
- Character artwork
- Illustrations
- Promotional pieces
- Posters
- Other artwork that’s be featured in Bounty Crew
And if you’ve got an idea that you think could fit the project, feel free to pitch it!
HAVE ANOTHER IDEA?
Don’t feel limited to the categories above.
If there’s something you think you could contribute that I haven’t mentioned, tell me!
One of the things I love about Newgrounds is that there’s always somebody doing something completely unexpected.
So if you’ve got an idea…
I wanna hear it!

A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS:
Bounty Crew is currently a free, non-commercial passion project. At this time, community contributions would be unpaid, with proper credit given to everyone whose work is included.
Once I start receiving messages and submissions, I’ll review everything and figure out what fits the game’s tone, scope, and production schedule. If everything works out, I’ll reach back out, let you know you’ve been accepted, and send you an invite to the game’s Discord server.
And of course, I’ll make sure contributors are properly credited for everything that makes it into the project.
WHY I’M DOING THIS
Bounty Crew has become a really personal project for me. A huge part of the reason I’ve kept working on it is because of the people and creators I’ve discovered through Newgrounds. I’ve always loved the feeling that Newgrounds is a place where somebody can just show up with a crazy idea and say “Hey, I made this!”
And that’s the feeling I want Bounty Crew to capture. I don’t want it to just be my love letter to Newgrounds. I want it to feel like a celebration of all of us and the people who make this place what it is.
So if you want to lend your voice…
If you want to animate something…
If you want to make some cool and dope music…
If you want to draw something…
Or if you just have some crazy idea that you think would fit…
COME JOIN THE CREW.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported Bounty Crew and my other projects over the years.
And a HUGE thank you to the Newgrounds community for being such a massive inspiration behind this game.
Let’s make something awesome!
—Jam
